Deafening noise, chaos, an endless line of cars. Something's wrong with the traffic on Via Roma. Just days before the opening, the porticoes, the New York 11 September waterfront, Largo Carlo Felice, and all the surrounding streets are a living hell.

Cars coming from Piazza Deffenu are stuck in one lane whether they're heading toward the Town Hall or turning right into the square . Adding to the problems is the green light for pedestrians crossing from Rinascente or Palazzo Bacaredda, which blocks cars turning right from Via Roma.

It almost seems as if no one is concerned with synchronizing the traffic lights with the new road system.
