The drivers and administrative workers of the Cagliari car removal service are ready to proclaim a state of unrest.

Luca Locci of the general base union (Sgb) speaks of a "heavy working climate". The workers' assembly has been proclaimed for Tuesday 6 February: in Quartu, at the union headquarters, the next moves will be decided.

The problems have multiplied since the start of the service entrusted to Cosir: «After the award of the contract there was a nine-month long wait to start working, a long protest by the workers to guarantee their jobs with the occupation of the premises".

Staff management and workloads are in the unions' sights. «This is a company in which», accuses SGB, «the more you work and the less you earn, the more the workers make themselves available, the worse they are treated. The straw that broke the camel's back is the latest work provision that forces employees to return their vehicles at night outside of working hours. The company would earn 100 euros per car. And the workers?".

These details will also be discussed next Tuesday. «Now», explains Locci, «the workers' patience is over: the assembly will decide what to do».
