The protest of the Ctm commuters of the Cagliari hinterland is mounting, for the poor hygienic conditions on board the buses . The story of Giulia Casu (22 years old) from Quartu, a worker in a restaurant in the capital, is emblematic.

«Every day», says Casu, «I get on buses that are pitiful. This morning we hit rock bottom, with a dead rat on board the 19 , on my way to Monserrato». And again: «The smell on board was indescribable. One wonders why, after the umpteenth increase in tickets and fines, the poor hygiene on vehicles persists ».

Giulia, reporting the situation, found the immediate availability of the personnel on board who freed the bus from the mouse (apparently in an evident state of decomposition). Hence, the heartfelt appeal of the young woman, so that the institutions can improve the quality of travel on the means.
