The final hurdle for the Cagliari stadium is the building rights. Sports Councilor Macciotta and the offices are throwing the ball back into the "use permit" camp. The Rossoblu club, however, has opted for tactical silence and is ready to submit additions to the plan after Tuesday's delay in the City Council.

In any case, the process will have to be revised and the approval of the Economic and Financial Plan is postponed.

Mayor Zedda reassures: « We are certain that the Municipality and Cagliari will be able to find an agreement that corresponds not only to the general and shared interest of having a stadium adequate for the team's needs and for events of national and international importance, but also to respecting a rigorous use of public resources».
