In Cagliari, the Conad space in the Marconi shopping center in via Dolianova has reopened. A restart of the business that comes after a long period of closure.
The store, in addition to showing great attention to environmental sustainability, offers a new commercial path with particular attention to fresh and very fresh products, including the excellences of the "I Nostri Ori" brand with the guarantee of a short supply chain aimed at supporting the the local economy.
The departments will be the historical ones: the fruit and vegetables with references coming from the best local productions, the bakery and pastry shop with an assortment of pizza and typical desserts, the hot and cold gastronomy with ready-to-eat dishes, the served and self-service fish shop, the butcher's shop with cuts of meat coming from certified supply chains, the wine cellar with the best local labels.
To complete the offer, a vast assortment of Conad, Sapori& Dintorni and Sapori&Idee brand products as well as a healthy area with organic, gluten-free, vegan and protein products ideal for sports nutrition.
«After a long period of closure we are reopening the Conad Space, aware that we want to return to providing service to all citizens. The supermarket has been renovated and reopens inside the Marconi shopping center which is still not completed, but with a major renovation project planned", declares Michele Orlandi, director of the Sardinia network of Conad Nord Ovest, "we are in a stalemate phase, I know that there were expressions of willingness to open some businesses, but then the conditions for it to materialize did not exist. We are hopeful that customers will appreciate our efforts to reopen the store and offer a service, as well as solving a social and employment problem."
The Conad space in via Dolianova covers a sales area of over 3,700 m2 and offers services such as 8 traditional checkouts, 4 self checkouts and 5 self check-out checkouts. The team is made up of 135 employees.
The opening hours of the store are Monday to Sunday from 8.30am to 9pm.
