The arrest has been validated and precautionary custody ordered in prison for Ilaria Gaviano, a 39-year-old from Cagliari, and Ciprian Baicenau, a 46-year-old Romanian, arrested by the flying squad agents and arrested on charges of robbery against Mario Mulas, the man 75 year old found dead on Sunday morning in Viale Elmas in the square of the company he managed with his children.

The two - in front of the prosecutor Rita Cariello and in the presence of their lawyers, the lawyers Carlo Demurtas and Massimo Bitti - had provided their version of the facts. Gaviano had admitted to stealing and fleeing in the man's van.

But before judge Luca Melis, prosecutor Cariello , in addition to asking for validation of the arrest for aggravated robbery, also accused both of them of death as a consequence of another crime, in competition. Gaviano alone, but in collaboration with a third person for whom proceedings will be carried out separately, is also accused of the improper use of the 75-year-old's credit card. Once the hearing was over, the judge for preliminary investigations Luca Melis validated the arrest of the Flying Squad and accepted the request of the Prosecutor's Office, ordering the precautionary measure of precautionary custody in prison.
