About 150 citizens have gathered tonight in the auditorium of the primary school in via Piceno to discuss the inconveniences of the historic center of the city . For the first time Stampace, Marina, Castello and Villanova discussed together - as Carla Sulis, from the Villanova district underlined at the beginning - on the degradation that afflicts the historic areas of the city: restricted traffic areas , cleaning, transport and malamovida .

"We met the representatives of the Municipality and the public safety authorities: they did not listen to us, but we are tenacious".

Another difficulty, reported by Monica Zuncheddu, representative of the Castello district, "are the barriers arranged indiscriminately, some for 20-30 years . In addition, the Tom Thumb stop has been abolished. Living on the Rocca is a serious problem: the elderly no longer leave the house. And then the malamovida, with bottles, mountains of rubbish, noise . The parking lots: it is impossible to find them free, often due to non-compliance with the limited traffic, with unacceptable hours, from midnight to 7. Why don't the cameras work? There is an inability to manage public affairs at 360 degrees. I'm also thinking about the lifts: when will their definitive arrangement be? ”.

The outburst of Adolfo Costa, from the Stampace district: "Enough of the inaction of the Municipality, enough of mice and girls who defecate in the street , enough of dirt and barbaric hordes on weekends, even of kids who get drunk in the square". Other assemblies will be organized shortly. However, tonight's one opened a focus on the difficulties for which a solution is requested.
