A dance for all women who are denied the right to study, to dance, to be free. The message comes from the flash mob promoted by the Cpia1 of Cagliari - Provincial Center for Adult Education - to say No to gender-based violence.

On the notes of the song Jerusalema, the students of the Cpia, of all ages and from all over the world, participated in the creation of a video that will be broadcast on social networks from 8 March. Red shirts, smiles and children in tow, the girls who have resumed their studies as adults tell, with their stories, that it's never too late, that it's always the right time to give yourself a chance.

Also on 8 March - from 4 pm in the premises of the Euclide high school - the conference to promote gender equality will open, during which the representatives of the institutions and associations involved in the fight against violence will take the floor.

The "Non CPIAce la violence" project, sponsored by the Municipality of Cagliari, stems from the belief that dance has the power to overcome physical and language barriers and, at the same time, is capable of uniting people of different cultures, thus creating a sense of belonging to the same community. The flash mob - recorded in the classrooms and in the most significant places in Cagliari - was conceived as an opportunity to convey a sign of closeness, strength and solidarity towards women victims of violence. An entire school that dances to claim women's rights, because rights and emancipation start from the school and grow with education.
