Overturned, with the front part crumpled against a bench: the Piaggio Porter used for transport inside the cemetery of San Michele in Cagliari was found in these conditions on Sunday morning: they travel on that vehicle, or did travel, given the damage, also the bodies during the procedures of exhumulation and transfer from one niche to another.

On opening, the vehicle was found semi-destroyed along the main avenue of the cemetery by the supervisors, who immediately notified the municipal offices. Today the cemetery services official filed a complaint about the incident. The perpetrator, or perpetrators, disappeared immediately after the accident, leaving no further traces which at the moment can help to trace their identity.

«No signs of forced entry were found», explains the city councilor for general affairs, Marina Adamo, «so we think it may have been a stunt. The only damage found is to the vehicle, there are no other damages to the structures. The hope", he concludes, "is that it was an isolated episode and that it will never happen again".

On the other hand, the thought of the leader of the Democratic Party at Palazzo Bacaredda, Fabrizio Marcello, is controversial: " I wonder", he attacks, "how it is possible that someone can enter the cemetery, run around peacefully in a motor vehicle, crash and then leave, without that there is a check". The representative of the opposition announces the presentation of a question in the city council.
