Cagliari, sit-in under the Regional Council: "No to nuclear waste in Sardinia"

Sit-in, under the porticoes of the Regional Council in Cagliari, of the militants of the Nonucle association against the storage of nuclear waste in Sardinia.

The committees of the Pratobello Network, the Presidio of the Sardinian People and some independence movements are concerned about the Government's plans to create a single repository for waste disposal.

The protest movements shouted: "We don't want waste in Sardinia". And, immediately after, they warned: "The Sardinians also said no at the polls, they will not allow their territory to be compromised forever".
