Cagliari, shock investigation into a newborn: was it sold?

The investigation by the Cagliari prosecutor's office into five people involved in an in-depth investigation concerning a terrible hypothesis, that of a newborn handed over by his natural parents to a couple who would then register him in the registry office as own son.

The baby could have been voluntarily given by the mother, or she could have been induced and persuaded to hand him over to the new parents or even the newborn could have been sold.

It all started with a report: the couple's neighbors noticed the sudden presence of the newborn, with no previous traces of the woman's pregnancy. And the carabinieri discovered in a few days that something was not right.

The prosecutor's office seized the cell phones of the people involved.
