Race against time to save the life of a Sardinian newborn in need of urgent medical attention .
The particular conditions of the little girl - who came to light just two days ago - required emergency medical transport from Cagliari to Rome with an Air Force flight.
The Prefecture of the Sardinian capital therefore requested the intervention of a Falcon 900 of the 31st flock stationed in Ciampino.
The baby - in a thermal cradle - was then taken on the slopes of Elmas, together with her parents and a specialized team for assistance, and then transported to the capital.
Finally, upon arrival, she was loaded into an ambulance for admission to the Roman pediatric hospital Bambino Gesù , where she will receive the care she needs.
