Cagliari, "split" in a pizzeria-kebab but the police catch them: one arrested, the other flees to the construction site in via Roma

He had managed to lift the shutter and puncture the window of a pizzeria in Via dei Mille . He wanted to take the cash register from that hole, but at that moment he was surprised by the State Police.
It was around 2.30 when the Volante was alerted by a call to 112: upon seeing the police , the 38-year-old man of Senegalese origin tried to flee, but was stopped by the officers in Via Roma . But while the chase was underway, an accomplice was trying to "complete the job", thanks to a modem abandoned by the first burglar.
Noticed by a policeman, he fled (getting rid of the stolen goods), managing to disappear by crossing the construction site in Via Roma . The equipment used for the "split" was then found and seized in front of the pizzeria.
The arrested man will have to answer for the crime of aggravated theft in competition.
