Libramare is back again this year, the Cagliari festival of poetry, literature and social culture that combines the pleasure of reading with the beauty of the sea. Now in its eighth edition, it is scheduled every Thursday from 12 June to 31 July , from 8pm to 10pm. The event will take place, as always, at the first stop of Poetto, on the sea side, in the suggestive setting of Golfo 1 beach, in front of the Sella del Diavolo.

Conceived and organized by the Golfo degli Angeli Social Cooperative, led by Tina Abis, together with the Is Mirrionis Popular Poetry School , with the contribution of the Municipality of Cagliari, Libramare offers every week an event that intertwines poetry, literature and testimonies of support for the environment and fragility.

The artistic direction is curated by the poet and writer Gianni Mascia . The evenings will be hosted by the journalist Alessandra Addari , with musical accompaniment by Mauro Dedoni . Ornella Donini took care of the planning and organization. For the opening, Thursday 12 June, starting at 8 pm, the interventions of the writers Tomaso Tiddia and Luca Masala are planned. In addition, Gianni Mascia and Mauro Dedoni will give life to a “poetry concert”.

Also on the agenda is the meeting with Medsea Foundation. On July 31st, for the closing, a tribute to the journalist Antonello Lai, who passed away on August 1st, 2024, is scheduled. In September, as a natural continuation of the festival, the poetic and creative writing workshops for children and young people will start, curated by the poet Rita Carta , held in the youth centers and schools of the city, in collaboration with local associations.
