A 42-year-old from Cagliari, Massimiliano Coviello, ended up in prison on charges of sexual violence and child pornography.

The investigations of the Flying Squad of Cagliari led him to: he would have had relationships with girls, minors, with whom he would have come into contact mainly through social media. He promised very young people a career in the world of fashion or entertainment, and proposed to take care of their image by creating a photo book. The abuse dates back to 2019 when the very young girls were all minors.

It was during the photo shoots that the sexual abuse allegedly occurred, during a crescendo of shots with increasingly provocative and sexually explicit poses, into which some of the minors were allegedly induced, taking advantage of their condition of physical and psychological inferiority. The police investigations started from the complaint of two of the girls in 2019 and allowed the flying squad investigators to reconstruct a series of episodes up to 2021.

Recently there were only a few attempts by the arrested man to lure girls on the web . According to what the police found, the 42-year-old worked as a photographer and said he was ready to open a modeling agency through social networks. For two victims he would have stopped at red light shots, in another he would have abused the girl even in the presence of another minor.

In his home the police allegedly found and seized IT media, mobile phones and computers full of images and videos of a child pornography nature. The 42-year-old is now in prison in Uta.
