Up for grabs are forty executive jobs in the Region - Regional bodies sector. The public competition took place today, right in the middle of the invasion of the Charon anticyclone, which delivered scorching temperatures to Sardinia. There were 3111 applications for admission to the test, while 2987 were admitted. In the first round 762 took part in the test, in the second 780, for a total of 1542 candidates welcomed in pavilion I of the Fiera di Cagliari, venue of the competition.
However, the premises would have been devoid of an air conditioning system . This is what the trade unions denounce, raising the controversy on a day in which "the weather alert was also issued in the Cagliari area by the regional civil protection, with the forecast of temperatures exceeding 40 degrees ".
Thus, according to the acronyms, the prerequisites for the regular success of the competition could be lacking: «It seems evident», they say, «the need to carefully check under what conditions the procedure will have to be carried out, and to ascertain its compatibility with the criteria for the protection of public health ".
The inspection by the ASL was immediate and verified the presence of thirty "water coolers" (three on the ground floor, where candidates are identified, and 27 on the first floor, where the test takes place). Furthermore, according to what the Company ascertained, the competition would proceed in two tranches, with 800 people at a time. Since there is also a sufficient number of toilets, for the ASL "the existing premises meet the normal hygienic-sanitary criteria ".
The results of the public competition will be published in the next few hours on the institutional website of the Sardinia Region.
