Parking revolution in the center of Cagliari. This was decided by the municipal council led by Paolo Truzzu who with a resolution, in the light of the numerous works in progress, set itself the objective of "protecting the need for parking by residents and guaranteeing accessibility for users in places of greater commercial attractiveness during the hours of opening to the public".

The provision was adopted today, but for implementation it will be necessary to wait for the individual ordinances, which should be signed shortly, but not before a week.

Specifically, between 8 pm and 8 am, the parking lots in viale Regina Margherita on the right-hand side going down the stretch between via Eleonora d'Arborea and via Cavour will be reserved for residents of the Marina. And 24 hours a day in the streets:

  • viale Regina Margherita on the right side going down in the section between the piazza Francesco Paolo Ingrao staircase and the intersection with via Roma
  • via Roma in the stretch between Largo Carlo Felice up to the pedestrian crossing before via Napoli, side of the central open-air promenade.

For residents of Stampace, in the 20-8 bracket , parking will be reserved in the following streets:

  • via Caprera
  • Corso V. Emanuele at the intersection via Caprera via Pola
  • Via Maddalena
  • Via Malta
  • Piazza del Carmine on the Post Office side
  • Via Tigellio
  • Via Palabanda
  • Via Carbonazzi
  • Via XXIX November
  • Via Carloforte in the section between via Mameli and Corso Vittorio Emanuele

The stalls in via Fara and via Azuni are reserved 24 hours a day for the same residents.

On the other hand, between 8 pm and 8 am, the parking spaces in the section between viale Trieste and via Maddalena, on the Ferrovie dello Stato side, are reserved for citizens residing in Stampace and in via Roma.
