Cagliari, neighbors stabbed: "No betrayal, we were being spied on."

"What betrayal? My partner was stabbed because we repeatedly asked our neighbor to remove the camera placed on the landing."

This was stated by the partner of Giangiorgio Siddi, the 37-year-old man stabbed twice Monday evening inside the apartment building on Via Ardenne, Cagliari, where the couple lives. Giovanni Medas, 48, was arrested on charges of attempted murder after being arrested by Carabinieri officers from the Cagliari branch. The officers found him in his apartment and also seized the kitchen knife used in the attack. A bloody incident unfolded in front of several witnesses.

Initially, the idea of passion had emerged. But the woman describes tensions between neighbors that arose for very different reasons.
