Thirty-two tons of plant protection products, fertilizers and various types of feed intended for agriculture were seized during an operation by the Carabinieri of the NAS of Cagliari.

The military triggered a blitz inside a resale of agricultural products in the province and in an annexed warehouse of about 700 square meters for the storage of pallets of animal feed and fertilizers of various kinds.

During the inspection, the Nas found "the poor structural and sanitary conditions of the entire building unsuitable for guaranteeing the healthiness of the environments or the correct conservation of the products inside".

For this reason, the administrative seizure (for a value of about 100 thousand euros) of the deposit and of what is inside it was triggered, to prevent the products from ending up on the market.

The owner of the company, recipient of the administrative sanctions for the violations ascertained, was reported to the health authorities for the appropriate measures.
