This afternoon, the Prime Minister Marco Benucci, representing the mayor Massimo Zedda and the entire municipal administration of Cagliari, paid homage to her in an event that took place in the presence of family and friends, gathered for the occasion to celebrate together with Mrs. Vardeu in a moment of joy and celebration . Born in 1923 in Orosei, Francesca Vardeu dedicated her life to her family and work, with a strong spirit of sacrifice and dedication. First as the custodian of the family olive grove and later as an employee of the Sardinia Region, Mrs. Vardeu embodied those values of commitment and solidarity that represent the heart of our community . Mother of four children, two of whom are still alive, she lived for a long time in Cagliari with her husband, a carabiniere, with whom she shared years of commitment and dedication.
