Cagliari: Mother and daughter hit by car on Via Is Mirrionis

A road accident occurred late this afternoon in Cagliari , on Via Is Mirrionis , where two women, a mother and daughter, were struck by a car while crossing the street . According to initial reports, the two were on their way to Mass when the vehicle struck them.

The daughter was the one who fared the worst, being taken to Brotzu Hospital with a red code for facial trauma. The young woman, however, remained conscious throughout . Her mother , however, was taken to Santissima Trinità Hospital with a yellow code .
