The entry time goes back by half an hour, the exit time changes from 1.30pm to 2pm: from five to six hours a day , but no more school on Saturdays . The decision taken for the primaries in Via Garavetti , in Cagliari , is not liked by most parents.

Alessandro, father of a child who attends the fourth grade in the Via Caboni branch, tells it. According to his point of view, the measure should have concerned only the first classes in the 2023-24 school year, and not those who had enrolled with the timetable currently in force.

On the one hand, the change would allow for significant savings, with the institute remaining open one day less . On the other, it would respond to the critical issues related to the shortage of school collaborators . Lastly, there would be a need to standardize the numerous school times present (between classes of 27, 29, 30 and 40 hours), which would be creating problems in teachers' time management.

But the family balance, in addition to the absence of a canteen and the difficulties in learning with such a "heavy" timetable, would be at the root of the discontent of mothers and fathers, for a decision taken without a referendum: hence the choice of proceed with a collection of signatures , which led to a convening of an assembly , scheduled for Friday, with the representatives of the parents.

But that's not all: the case could become the subject of a question in the City Council , with councilor Camilla Soru (Pd) intending to give voice to the protest. The parents are also considering the possibility of appealing to the Tar , in an attempt to see the decision canceled due to procedural defects.
