Cagliari, monumental ficus collapses in Piazza Ingrao: the newsstand crushed, damage to the Ctm line

It collapsed suddenly this morning at dawn and just by a lucky coincidence there were no injuries.

Moments of fear in via Roma in Cagliari : the monumental ficus in piazza Ingrao has fallen over the newsstand . Serious damage to the structure, such as the Ctm overhead line and the electricity line. Two parked cars were also hit.

To understand if the collapse is due to the work in progress in via Roma or if the big tree was sick. Experts in the green sector of the Municipality are also at work.

The stretch of road is already closed due to the construction site in via Roma, therefore no further inconvenience to traffic.
