Cagliari, large branch falls on the pavement: a passerby grazed it

The large branch of a carob tree fell on the pavement and on top of parked vehicles in the afternoon in via Campania, in Cagliari.

A passerby was only a few centimeters away from being overwhelmed , risking being crushed under the weight of the imposing branch.

The accident occurred in front of the side entrance to the Monte Claro park: the plant is planted in the traffic island.

The Municipality's technicians will have to check the health status of the carob tree. The local police are at work on site, having fenced off the area.
