Match between the students of GR 11 and Pirri suspended twice: the final whistle three hours after the start of the match
The Allievi match between Gr11 and Calcio Pirri played this morning on the Sant'Elia field in Cagliari risked not being completed.
The kick-off was supposed to be at 11. Shortly before, the designated referee was injured. Match suspended pending the arrival of a substitute.
At the resumption, the new nasty surprise. The second race director also had physical problems. An illness. Thus the suspension was sanctioned.
An ambulance arrived next to the field overlooking the sea to help the second referee. Meanwhile, the hypothesis of a further change has emerged and a third is being sought.
But the substitution wasn't necessary: the second injured player, after treatment, returned to the field until the final whistle.
