The pressure on the wards of the Santissima Trinità hospital in Cagliari remains high: patients who previously remained "parked" even for days in the emergency room, have been transferred to the other pavilions by order of the management.

But places are not enough all the same. So much so that more beds are added than ordinary ones. And to have the machinery turned on, "creative electricity" is also used: the cables are flying and pass from the room to the bathroom socket, as certified by a video made in the acceptance room of the Medicine department.

"They are hiding the dust under the carpet", accuses the Fials trade unionist, Paolo Cugliara, "the elderly who were previously kept in Obi in the emergency room, on improvised stretchers, are now being moved to prevent them from being seen".

In support of his thesis, the workers' representative brings a circular, dated November 8, with which the health management of the Is Mirrionis hospital authorized the activation of the so-called "bis beds". That is, beds that go beyond the ordinary number.

“But people need to know that, for example, every bed must have a connection for oxygen and an electrical system. And also spaces to carry out any resuscitation maneuvers. Certain images show us that this is not the case at the Santissima", concludes Cugliara.
