It can be consulted on the Municipality's website and, thanks to geolocation, offers precise information on the nearest defibrillator . In Cagliari, the interactive map of the 71 life-saving devices present in the city is now available, both managed directly by the institution and given on loan for use to third parties.
The initiative was created to guarantee a timely response in case of cardiac emergencies. The Municipality and various entities collaborated on the project, including schools, municipal structures and commercial companies.
«This synergy – the administration explains – is a positive example of how technology can be used to improve the safety and readiness of a community . But above all, it is an example of how a community can work together to ensure a better quality of life for its inhabitants."
