There is still fog paralyzing the Cagliari-Elmas airport , albeit for a few hours. The reduced visibility froze departures and arrivals, with cascading delays that created significant inconvenience for Sunday travellers.

Starting with the 7.10 Ryanair flight from Rome Ciampino , which took off only at 8.59, but was forced to turn back and be "diverted" to the departure airport . It didn't go any better for those who should have taken the opposite route: the 7.40 Cagliari-Ciampino has not yet left the island, and departure is only scheduled for 11.30.

Shortly after the take-off scheduled for Cagliari-Fiumicino Ita, initially scheduled for 8.50, moved to 11.10. At 10.50, however, the departure for the Ita flight to Linate , despite the 9.15 forecast. A question of cascading delays, considering that another plane headed to Fiumicino left Sardinia at 9.04, more than an hour and a half later than scheduled.

The flights from Fiumicino at 8.05 and the one from Linate at 8.25 were also delayed and had not yet departed.
