World of sport in mourning for the death of the lawyer Carlo Porceddu , "Meritorious Executive" of the Italian Football Federation. He was 85 years old. Born in Cagliari, he collaborated for 47 years with the FIGC.

He has received prestigious awards: the "Gold Star for sporting merit" and the title of "Knight of Merit of the Republic" to then become "Meritorious Manager" of the FIGC for his «multi-year activity profusely and incessantly in his managerial positions in favor of the federal organization".

Without forgetting the forensic activity and political commitment in his city. From 1994 to 2001 he was councilor for sport and deputy mayor in the council led by Mariano Delogu.
