They remove the car parked in a no parking zone and take it with the tow truck to the municipal depot, in viale Monastir, in Cagliari. He goes to get it back but has no intention of paying what he owes. So, taking advantage of the distraction of an employee, busy with another customer, he gets into his Peugeot 206, starts it and tries to leave the warehouse.

A worker notices everything and tries to get in front, he passes over his foot with a wheel, goes over the barrier, takes Viale Monastir against traffic and disappears.

The protagonist of the eventful episode, which occurred late on Friday evening, is an 84-year-old. A few hours later he was reached at home by a municipal police patrol, taken to the barracks, identified and reported for theft and resisting a public official.

The same old man had already shown up in Viale Monastir the day before to take away the car without paying. But on the previous occasion he hadn't hit anyone. He was charged with car theft (his, but under the custody of the Municipality) and resisting a public official.
