Driving while intoxicated is the charge to which a 21-year-old young man must respond, reported by the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of Cagliari.

The young man was stopped driving a Fiat 500, registered to an Elmas company in via Carloforte: subjected to an alcohol test he was found positive with a blood alcohol level of more than one and a half times the limit permitted by law.

The license was immediately confiscated on the spot and the documents relating to the infringement were sent to the Judicial Authority, which will evaluate the criminal implications of the matter.

The objective of these operations is to reduce the number of road accidents, thus protecting the lives of citizens and ensuring greater safety on the roads . Road safety remains an absolute priority, and the fight against drunk driving is one of the important battles to be fought to protect the community."
