A 32-year-old man with no criminal record was arrested by the Police Flying Squad in Pirri for drug dealing. During a house search, the officers recovered 70 grams of cocaine , partly already packaged, that the man was keeping in a beauty case, stored in the bedroom closet. The young man is now under house arrest by order of the judge.

Part of the drug, already packaged in doses and ready to be sold, was found in a tubular package that originally contained a well-known anti-flu drug, found by the police on the suspect.

During the search, material for packaging the narcotic substance and the sum of 45 euros in cash were also seized.

The facts ascertained by the State Police investigators were submitted to the evaluation of the investigating judge who, during the summary hearing held yesterday morning, after having validated the arrest, ordered the suspect to be placed under house arrest.
