An Enel electrical substation placed in via Bacaredda, in Cagliari, sparks controversy in the neighborhood. The complaints come from the spontaneous committee which expresses itself through the spokesperson, Francesco Spanu. «After sending a PEC to the mayor, requesting a meeting to discuss solutions that protect green spaces», we read in a note, «the committee found itself faced with a wall of silence. Despite a popular petition and the unanimous consent of the neighborhood, the request for a constructive dialogue remained unanswered."

In a moment considered «critical, in which the importance of preserving the urban environment is evident more than ever, the urgency of finding solutions that balance progress with respect for nature is palpable. The Spontaneous Fonsarda committee reiterates its simple request: energy strengthening infrastructures can be installed in environments that do not compromise urban decor, but this requires the will to act."

Spokesman Spanu underlines the importance «of addressing this issue with seriousness and responsibility, ensuring that the decisions taken reflect the desire and interests of the local community. The mayor's silence in the face of this criticism raises questions about the institutions' commitment to protecting the urban environment and involving citizens in decisions that directly concern them."
