The vast territory control operation carried out by the State Police in Cagliari in the areas of the city where the phenomenon of drug dealing is most felt has ended.

The activities coordinated by the Cagliari Flying Squad with the support of the UPG and SP and the Quartu Sant'Elena police station made it possible to arrest another 4 people, allegedly responsible for drug dealing, in the Is Mirrionis district, in via Seruci. The Flying Squad investigators caught the four people, aged 47, 19, 22 and 43 years old respectively, in the act of drug dealing, two of whom were already known to the police due to their police records.
During the operations , 4 doses of cocaine and 4 of heroin, approximately 800 euros in cash, as well as two precision scales which were hidden in the meter box inside one of the condominiums in via Seruci, were found and seized.
The four were placed under house arrest pending the validation hearing which will be held this morning.
Already in recent days, as part of the same high-impact investigative project, three people have been arrested: two inside a recreational club in Pirri, with the preventive seizure of the place, and one, two days ago, in the Villanova district , found in possession of approximately 260 grams of drugs (including marijuana and hashish) and 960 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illicit activity.
The facts ascertained by the State Police investigators yesterday will be subjected to the evaluation of the investigating judge, who will decide on the arrests during the validation hearing to be held this morning.
