On the road, port side, the usual scene: cars lined up on both lanes. On the other side, portico side: the Marina residents' vehicles parked on the sides of a road that leads nowhere except to the fence that delimits the second lot of the construction site, yet to be started. In the center, the playground, stormed by dozens and dozens of children.
So on this Sunday morning in February that had a bit of a summer feel to it, Via Roma in Cagliari presented itself: under the watchful eyes of parents and various relatives, the little ones were playing in that little park that had made many turn up their noses, given that it is located a stone's throw from the road and close to the lane reserved for the passage of public transport (now buses, in the future the metro).
The people of Cagliari enjoyed the sun and the mild temperatures to go and discover the new Via Roma, the one without the announced forest. Then a walk to Su Siccu, a seaside alternative to Poetto: to reach the Centomila beach around 12 there was a queue that went (far beyond) Ponte Vittorio and also created some problems on the Asse mediano at the height of Amsicora.
