Aggravated theft in competition. Two men aged 36 and 35 must answer for this accusation: yesterday afternoon they were surprised by a crew of the Squ adra Volante in Via Cornalias in Cagliari while, inside a FIAT 500 , they were fiddling under the steering wheel.

While the policemen were turning around, the two managed to start the car and move away towards the area of the nearby cemetery. The operators managed to stop them in Via Lunigiana and identify them: both were known to have police records.

The check revealed that the car's dashboard had been tampered with and the control unit that activates the main functions of the car had been replaced. The car, among other things, had already been stolen a few days earlier in via Basilicata as reported by the owner.

The two arrested were taken to the police headquarters: the investigating judge validated the arrest with the application of the home detention measure for both.
