Cagliari, car catches fire while driving: smoke and flames on Ponte Vittorio

Car on fire this afternoon in Cagliari on the Vittorio bridge.

The vehicle, a white Clio, caught fire for reasons yet to be ascertained while it was driving towards the city. Firefighters were on site for an initial intervention and to secure the area.

Road blocked and traffic at a standstill.
