The homes of two Cagliari players were burgled. During the Rossoblu players' absence , someone broke into the apartments of Sebastiano Esposito and Zito Luvumbo (the Angolan has already left the city for the Africa Cup of Nations). They live in the same area, between Viale Trento and Viale Merello.

Once the break-in was discovered, the alarm was raised and patrol cars arrived on the scene, followed by forensic experts searching for traces left by the thieves (since multiple individuals were thought to be at work ). The amount of loot taken from the two apartments is still unclear.
