Two people were reported by the State Police in Cagliari for the crime of aggravated theft and attempted theft in some shops in the city center.

It is a 22-year- old foreigner residing in Cagliari , with numerous police records for property crimes, and a 40 -year-old, also known to the police for his background.

In particular, on the night of April 22, on the 22 year old, after having raised the shutter and forced the front door of a business in via Rom in, he would have managed, once inside, to remove the cash register drawer with the internal the sum of 500 euros.

In the early hours of the previous day, the same 22-year-old, with the same modus-operandi, had managed to break into a shop in Piazza San Benedetto , failing to do so because he was surprised by the owner.

The man was then identified thanks to the images of the video surveillance system of the two activities: the investigators of the Flying Squad and the Flying Squad then found in his home the same items of clothing worn during the theft and attempted theft.

Two attempts of theft in various commercial establishments in via Manno are instead the incidents against the 40-year-old, during which considerable damage was caused to the entrance doors of the businesses.

The policemen of the Mobile team then reported a third person for receiving stolen goods . It is an 18-year- old , foreign citizen residing in Cagliari, found in possession of computer equipment already the subject of the theft committed against a school in the city center, committed on 8 March last. The young man would have been surprised to resell some PCs from the theft to unsuspecting buyers through an advertisement on social platforms dedicated to the sale of used items.
