The move of the market operators from San Benedetto to Cagliari is approaching. The Municipality has awarded the contract for the construction of the temporary structure in Piazza Nazzari – in the Parco della Musica – which will host the historic activities, pending the works which will transform one of the city's symbolic places.

The deed assigning the intervention is signed by the manager of the Strategic Works, Mobility and Road Infrastructure Service, Daniele Olla. There is only one company participating in the tender: "Rtc Consortium of production and work cooperatives" as agent and Profilsider as principal. The consortium member Metal Sulcis, a Sardinian company, will take part in the field.

Between executive planning and execution of the works, the temporary market should cost 5,673,409.50 euros.

The next step is the green light in the services conference, which will be expressed on a definitive level. It should be convened within a month. Then the construction site will be opened: before the summer.
