Cagliari, age-old pine breaks and ends up on the road: a near tragedy

Touched the tragedy in Cagliari, in Viale Cimitero.
During the night a large centuries-old pine fell in the street, shortly after the monumental cemetery of Bonaria. It happened around 2 am, luckily no pedestrians or cars were passing by at that time.

An emergency team of the Fire Brigade of the Cagliari Command intervened on the spot, which provided for the safety of the area and the roadway.

The plant was cut and removed, the road temporarily closed for the duration of the intervention.
