The closure of via Roma passes the traffic test on ordinary days. But it causes serious inconvenience on the day of the large crowd at the stadium for the match between Cagliari and Sudtirol.

While around the Unipol Domus, at the end of the match, traffic jams are a predictable habit, the gigantic line that formed from the seafront to viale Colombo was an unwelcome novelty: hundreds of motorists remained lined up in an attempt to reach the slope west of the city.

The next assessment on the alternative road network will arrive on beautiful spring evenings, when many flock to the centre. And in addition to via Roma, via Porcell is also closed, as is via Giussani in Buoncammino: two streets in the ring for finding parking.
