After five months tomorrow, Monday 24 April, via Porcell reopens to traffic in Cagliari . This is good news in a period of closures and bans for the many construction sites underway in the city. For motorists , this is a valuable alternative even if there are many difficulties in the area due to the closure of via Roma, viale Trieste and viale Buoncammino .

The reopening was decided by the Municipality with an order signed by the manager of the Mobility service. So from tomorrow the barriers will be removed from via Porcell.

Even if the reopened road with travel direction from via Ospedale to via Fiume will have a reduction in the section affected by the works (and a speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour) to secure the wall at risk of collapse. There will also be a reversal of the direction of traffic in via Fiume: it will be possible to travel again in the direction of viale Buoncammino.
