Yesterday night the man was on board the vessel when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he fell into the sea. Luckily he managed to open the hatch and get out, fishermen in the area helped him get back on the quay.
The call to the Cagliari Fire Brigade's Operations Room arrived around four o'clock : the specialists of the Nautical unit and Diver Specialists, the team of the Port Detachment and a mobile crane from the headquarters of the Viale Marconi Command arrived on site.
The operators thus recovered and made the vehicle safe, avoiding water pollution.
