A night of terror on Via Val d'Elsa in Cagliari: the tranquility of the area was shattered by a violent explosion that caused alarm among residents.

According to an initial reconstruction, the explosion, heard around midnight, was caused by a large homemade firecracker doused in flammable liquid, placed in front of the entrance door of a building.

The Carabinieri are investigating the case.
