A CTM bus plunged into a deep pothole that suddenly opened up in the asphalt: it happened this afternoon on the bend between Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Viale Merello, in Cagliari.
"This image is shocking," comments Alleanza Sardegna city councilor Roberto Mura, "a bus stuck in one of the city's many potholes."
On Viale Merello, "the redevelopment work has been awaited for months now: after the announcements, this is the reality. The vast resources in the budget must be released immediately to renovate the streets and operational teams must be established to address this emergency," concludes Mura. "We can't wait any longer."
The road has been closed pending repairs, which are expected to be completed tomorrow morning, Friday, February 6.
Alternatively, you can go down Viale Merello and turn onto Via De Magistris.
