"The Sole 24 Ore quality of life report photographs a significant part of the life of the metropolitan city composed of 17 municipalities. On a general level, we find ourselves in the middle of the ranking (44th place), so we still have a lot of work to do and on several fronts, starting from the macro-themes concerning wealth and consumption, demography and health, environment and services". This is what the metropolitan and Cagliari mayor Massimo Zedda told Ansa, commenting on the ranking published today by the economic daily.

"On the positive side," Zedda adds, "we are pleased that the Metropolitan City appears in eighth place for new businesses and tourism, with an excellent third place for the creation of social enterprises. We are also in the top positions for cultural offerings and free time. But, above all, we are pleased that Cagliari can boast the record, in the Peninsula, of female municipal administrators: we aim to increase the percentage to 41.6% ."

"Reports like these are useful for understanding the present and planning interventions and investments for the future," concludes Zedda. " We are working on the organization and programming, but I am confident : with the Region and other institutions we are working profitably."
