The attack that took place this morning in Cagliari in via Cavour ended with an arrest for attempted murder.

Around 9 am, the carabinieri of the Radiomobile arrived on the spot: shortly before a young man - who seems to be from Cagliari - had stabbed a 42-year-old from Bangladesh in the left arm and abdomen and then fled.

The military started the search but the alleged attacker showed up at noon, with his lawyer, in the offices of the Cagliari Villanova station command and handed over the knife used, which was seized, to the carabinieri .

As ordered by the prosecutor, the 20-year-old was arrested for attempted murder and taken to the Uta prison awaiting the validation hearing.

The injured person is admitted to the Santissima Trinità hospital on a reserved prognosis .
