Agreement between the Municipality of Cagliari and the Molentargius park to manage 1.5 million from the NRP which will be used to plant 32 thousand plants on 31.8 hectares in the city: the areas identified are Monte Urpinu and the hill of San Michele. An "urban reforestation" is defined in the documents.

The institutions have signed a memorandum of understanding, ratified by the junta led by Paolo Truzzu, with two objectives: the "recovery of the two most important green lungs of the city and the enhancement of oxygen production, with consequent reduction of carbon dioxide" . And there is talk of "new life" for the historic parks of the capital.

In the project, according to the resolution of the executive of the Bacaredda palace, “the employee of the Molentargius Park, Luisanna Massa, lends a fundamental role”.

Hence the pact, made in recent days and valid for the next five years.
