There is a no that makes a "giant" noise. This is what the mayor of Cabras Andrea Abis said a few days ago on the balance sheet of the Mont'e Prama Foundation .

In Cabras in these hours we are no longer just talking about elections and the first political maneuvers in view of the renewal of the municipal council. But also of a rift between the body that manages the town museum and the Municipality of Cabras, a founding member of the Foundation together with the Ministry of Culture and the Region.

Abis a few days ago was the only one to oppose the document voted instead by the president of the Anthony Muroni Foundation and by the directors Paolo Fresu, Patricia Olivo, Efisio Trincas and Graziella Pinna.

Understanding the reasons for the no, i.e. what choices the Foundation made that the mayor did not share, is not yet known.

Abis said few words: «At the moment I don't agree with an administrative decision of the Foundation that I strongly wanted. The no doesn't come from Andrea Abis but from the Municipality that I legally represent. I have to protect the interests of the community."

A no to the budget and therefore to the management of resources that comes after Abis has carefully consulted the papers: «I arrived at the vote convinced of my decision on the basis of the opinions I had in hand. As I was convinced in the past when I made difficult decisions always about the museum, but very important for the community».

If Abis says something from Anthony Muroni, president of the Foundation, absolute silence. For now, he prefers not to make any statements.
